Grocery Store Sampling

Introduce shoppers to Moozy Milk at grocery stores across Connecticut. We're looking for dependable people who enjoy talking with customers and working independently. Friday–Monday availability is especially helpful; you don't need to be available all four days.

At a glance

Pay: $20 per hour
How you're paid: Paid weekly by paper check, mailed directly to you.
Mileage & paid travel: $20/hour plus eligible mileage reimbursement. Loading, unloading, and travel between the Farm Store and your assignment are paid work time. See travel details
Demo length: Typically about 4 hours per demo, including setup and breakdown
Equipment: Demo equipment may need to be picked up or returned in Ellington. Flexible arrangements, including keeping equipment between demos, may be available. We'll coordinate logistics before scheduling.
Schedule: Part-time · Friday–Monday opportunities (you don't need all four). Assignments vary based on store needs and your availability. Weekly hours are not guaranteed.
Location: Connecticut — multiple regional opportunities
Engagement: Moozy Brand Ambassadors are engaged as independent contractors. Contractors must complete Form W-9 and may receive Form 1099 as required.
Age: 18 or older

Mileage & paid travel

If you drive directly from home to a demo, mileage is reimbursed one way from home to the store at the IRS business standard mileage rate in effect on the travel date. This applies even if you keep the demo kit at home between demos.
If you stop at the Farm Store first to load or prepare materials, you clock in when that work begins; the drive from the Farm Store to the store is paid work time, so those miles aren't reimbursed separately.
If you go back to the Farm Store to unload the kit, that time is paid work time too, and paid time ends when you finish unloading.
If you work two assignments in one day, stay clocked in for the drive between them; that drive is paid work time, so those miles aren't reimbursed separately.
The drive home after your last assignment isn't paid work time.
